Noise Secures $5.5 Million to Empower Everyday Content Creators

Noise, a marketing platform aimed at transforming everyday individuals into paid content creators, has announced a $5.5 million seed funding round. This funding, led by Capital Midwest, M25, and Grishin Robotics, brings the company's total raise to $7.2 million, according to TechCrunch. The platform seeks to connect brands with creators, allowing anyone to join regardless of their follower count, and compensates them on a per-view basis rather than a flat fee.
Noise's approach is designed to lower costs for brands compared to traditional influencer marketing or standard ad campaigns. Brands can sign up to share their content brief requests and budget, and Noise facilitates the rest, enabling campaigns to run simultaneously across thousands of content creators. This model allows brands to scale without the operational challenges of sourcing and managing individual creator relationships or payments.
The startup was launched in 2025 by Diego Kafie, Stu Feldt, and Nic Weber, who previously developed a mobile game app called Playbite. The platform now boasts 1.5 million creators, with its top creators earning over six figures annually. Noise takes a fee from what brands pay creators once views are delivered, providing a scalable solution for brands, particularly those with startup budgets.
CEO Diego Kafie highlighted the platform's ability to provide brands with diverse content and extensive reach at a fraction of the cost of traditional marketing strategies. "Our top brands work with several thousand creators on autopilot," Kafie stated. He noted that many of Noise's current customers are mobile apps and startups eager to employ influencer marketing to reach a broad audience.
The platform's inception was inspired by the founders' experiences at Playbite, where they experimented with various creative marketing strategies. Kafie explained that they initially recruited gamers to create social content promoting the app, which led to significant growth in app installs as these creators posted engaging content on platforms like TikTok.
Noise joins a growing number of companies in the content creator infrastructure space, such as Billo and JoinBrands, tapping into the expanding influencer market. According to TechCrunch, 57% of young people and over 40% of U.S. adults express interest in participating in the influencer market.
The company's vision is to eventually collaborate with companies of all sizes, providing them with a cost-effective way to engage a wide range of potential customers. "They are the most interested in reaching a really wide range of potential customers, making them the prime users for something like Noise," Kafie said.
As the platform continues to grow, it aims to offer brands unprecedented levels of content diversity and reach, challenging traditional marketing playbooks with its innovative approach.
