B&H Photo Discounts Nikon, Sony, GoPro Gear This October 2026

B&H Photo's flagship Manhattan store still runs its overhead conveyor belt system, hauling purchases down from the upper sales floors to the registers below — a fixture longtime customers remember even as most shopping has moved online, Wired's Gear Team reported Oct. 13. This month the savings are happening on the retailer's website, where price cuts on Nikon, Sony, and GoPro cameras are live heading into the holiday shopping season.

Which Cameras Are Discounted at B&H Photo Right Now?

Nikon's Z6 III full-frame mirrorless camera is listed at $2,196.95, a $300 reduction, according to Wired. The brand's retro-styled Zf is marked down $200, and the higher-end Z8 is discounted $600. Outside the Nikon lineup, Sony's a7R V full-frame mirrorless camera is $400 off, and GoPro's Hero 13 Black action camera — Wired's pick among action cameras — is discounted $70.

Does B&H Photo Offer Free Shipping on These Orders?

Most orders over $49 qualify for free expedited shipping to the contiguous United States, Wired reports. Orders under that threshold still typically ship free through standard delivery within the same region. Shoppers whose orders fall outside those terms can review alternate shipping options at checkout.

Are There Active B&H Promo Codes This October?

Wired's roundup does not list a specific promo code for October. Instead, the publication points to markdowns already built into listed prices, plus periodic 24-hour camera discounts of up to $300 and rotating price drops on accessories during extended holiday sales windows. Wired notes that B&H's deepest discounts historically arrive around Black Friday and Cyber Monday, a pattern that has repeated across the retailer's sales calendar in past years. Those rotating markdowns can appear and disappear within a day, so prices listed at checkout may differ slightly from the figures Wired cited in its Oct. 13 report.

How Do B&H Prices Compare on Non-Camera Gear?

The discounts extend past cameras. Wired's price comparison shows the DJI Osmo Action 6 listed at $436 on B&H versus $426 on Amazon, and the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro at $319 on B&H against $309 on Amazon — a reminder that shoppers comparing retailers may find Amazon slightly cheaper on some accessories even while B&H runs camera-specific promotions.

Is a B&H Gift Card a Useful Alternative for Gift-Givers?

For shoppers unsure what a photographer or tech enthusiast on their list actually wants, Wired suggests a B&H gift card, noting the retailer stocks "hundreds of models of cameras, computers, projectors, and more." That breadth, the publication argues, makes a gift card a safer bet than guessing at a specific camera body or lens.
