Ninja Labs is selling a $58 silicone pouch that attaches to the back of a smartphone using MagSafe magnets and stretches wide enough to carry far more than a stack of credit cards, according to a report from The Verge's Andrew Liszewski, published Oct. 16.

The accessory, called the MagSafe Flex Pouch, resembles the slim magnetic wallets that phone-case makers already sell for storing one or two cards on the back of a device. But Ninja Labs built the pouch out of a highly elastic silicone pocket that conforms to whatever gets packed inside it, turning the thin-wallet format into something closer to a small pocket organizer that still clings to a phone's magnets.

What Does the MagSafe Flex Pouch Actually Hold?

Ninja Labs lists a range of suggested uses for the pouch on its product site, Liszewski reported. Beyond the usual credit, debit, membership, loyalty, and ID cards a magnetic wallet is built for, the company says the stretchy pocket has room for a car key fob, a set of wireless earbuds, lip balm, gum, snacks, makeup, loose change, or what the report describes as an obnoxious roll of cash.

The silicone's grip is part of the sales pitch. Because the material naturally has a grippy texture, the pouch is designed to keep its contents from sliding or rattling once they are stuffed inside, rather than relying purely on the stretch of the fabric to keep everything contained during a day of normal handling.

How Does It Attach to a Phone?

The Flex Pouch relies on MagSafe, Apple's magnetic alignment and charging system, to snap onto the back of a compatible device the same way a magnetic wallet or battery pack would. That design means the pouch can be added or removed without a case, and it should stay aligned with a phone's internal magnet ring the way other MagSafe-compatible accessories do. The Verge's report does not specify whether Ninja Labs has tested or confirmed compatibility with magnetic-charging systems outside Apple's own MagSafe standard.

What Colors and Finishes Are Available?

Buyers can choose a clear silicone pocket, which shows off whatever is stashed inside, or one of four solid colors: pink, blue, lavender, and black, according to the report. The clear option effectively turns the back of a phone into a small display case for whatever someone decides to carry, while the solid colors keep the contents hidden.

"The MagSafe Flex Pouch looks like a magnetic wallet for pairing a small stack of credit cards to your phone, but its storage capacity goes well beyond a few thin plastic cards thanks to an extremely stretchy silicone pouch."

How Much Does It Cost?

Ninja Labs prices the MagSafe Flex Pouch at $58, the Verge report says. That is notably more than many standard MagSafe card wallets, which typically hold only a handful of cards and sell for less. The added cost reflects the trade-off Ninja Labs is marketing directly to customers: a bulkier accessory in exchange for storage capacity that stretches well past what a typical magnetic wallet offers.

What Questions Does the Report Leave Unanswered?

The Verge's report does not include hands-on testing results, a review verdict, or independent confirmation of how the pouch holds up once fully loaded with bulkier items such as earbuds, snacks, or a fob. It also does not specify the pouch's exact dimensions, weight, or how much added thickness it puts on the back of a phone when stuffed to capacity. Shoppers deciding whether the extra bulk is worth the extra storage will, for now, have to weigh that trade-off against the list of uses Ninja Labs publishes on its own product page rather than against a third-party review.

The product is sold directly through Ninja Labs, with the Verge piece serving as the original account of the accessory's design, pricing, and marketed use cases as of its Oct. 16 publication.
